THE NEXT-LEVEL HIJACK
In 2019, Samsung launched its most powerful smartphone yet - the Galaxy Note10. The Note series has always been positioned as a productivity device, but the Note10, with its suite of impressive, next-level features, truly had something for everyone. But, how do you make a phone designed for everyone relevant to our three key audiences: Creators, Gamers and Entrepreneurs?
We know that YouTube is the place people go to learn and be inspired on how to reach their next-level. So we developed a fun and highly personalized creative campaign that disguised our videos as the type of video the viewer was seeking, effectively hacking the platform.
By using our audience data and insights, we coupled each community’s top passion points with the most relevant device feature benefit to each user. The result was dozens of wildly personalized, dynamic, and contextually relevant pre-roll ads that effectively communicated how the Note10 would let the viewer take their passion to the next level.
